In this course, you’ll learn to develop a project step by step; From the first contact with the client and space, to the detailed preparation of the final project, to carrying it to its completion. Understand how the measurements and proportions work, see how to establish the right criteria when selecting the correct materials, lighting, colors, and textures, to find the best result

In the second unit, strengthen your knowledge in interior design in subjects such as the architectonic scale of different spaces that a house comprises, the selection of new materials in tune with existing ones, lighting, and the right furniture. See how all these new aspects are linked to social changes, and to the lifestyle of each user.
Next, discover some tips and tricks to make a start on your blank page, and create sketches for the preliminary phase of your project. Create your sketches with your chosen medium, either paper or your favorite 3D software.
Once you have your previous sketch approved by your client, elaborate a detailed plan of the steps required to carry out your project, to start building in the most organized and controlled way. See how to draw up a budget, taking into account the permits involved to visualize the final stages.
Learn how to plan even the smallest details to avoid any unexpected issues, by seeing the House of Mirrors’ implementation process, as well as other projects. Finally, get some advice on how to represent your work in the best way possible, to share it with the right channels.

What you need
It is recommended that you have some knowledge in drawing in either analog or digital. Nook Architects will use 2D vector illustration tools and SketchUp for 3D, but you can carry out your project with any drawing and 3D modeling software, as well as using pencil and paper if you prefer
